Starting woodworking doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg, and it really isn’t as daunting as you’d think. This simple DIY project walks you through creating a wood beer caddy. These make excellent gifts for anyone, and can be made in a very short amount of time.

Free beer caddy wood plans

The free woodworking plans are 8 pages of very detailed step-by-step instructions, 3D visuals and dimensions (drafted/designed in SketchUp), complete wood cut list, supply list, and much more.

I like to avoid any screws, nails, or metal hardware in mine, so they’re made using dowel joinery and glue (save for if you choose to add the optional metal bottle opener). Clean, minimal look and feel and a simple and VERY affordable build, to boot!

This wood beer caddy (6 pack beer holder – hopefully 6 local, craft brews) is the perfect gift for anyone in the family. The plans are available for free, unless you’d like to “buy me a beer” then you can enter a dollar amount in the “$0+ field”. Thank you in advanced, anything helps a lot and is deeply appreciated.
